About Okavango
The Okavango Tourism Development Hub covers an area of 12,000 hectares, located in the southern part of the Cuando Province, at the confluence of the Cubango and Cuito rivers, on the border with Namibia. It has significant potential to support the growth of Nature Tourism and Ecotourism, in connection with the Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA).
At the Okavango Hub, visitors can enjoy activities such as river cruises, sport fishing on the Cuito and Cubango rivers, and birdwatching of endemic species during the rainy season — offering sustainable, low-impact experiences deeply connected to nature.
